Lately, I have been taking a lot of supplements and have been on a low-carb diet (no sugar!) with fruits and vegetables, and I feel so much better! I've been able to have a ton of nut butters, butter, pure oils, egg yolks, and even all nuts, which even hurt my stomach before IBS, without having any pain or problems! (The mixture of pure carbs and fat gave me terrible pains.) I'm not 100% better, but the difference is amazing!
I know this is advertising, but if anyone lives in or near Teaneck, NJ, I recommend you go see Dr. Lavitan, who is a chiropractor/acupuncturist/herbalist. He is amazing! He knows so much about IBS/bowel disorders it's scary! If anyone feels hopeless, and they live near Teaneck, please go and see him! He is the only one that could help me (I went to a lot of other people along the way).
I'm sorry if anyone is against low-carb diets (and I'm in no way proposing an extreme one!), but this is the ONLY thing that helped me.
