When I first started the Acacia, I was the exact opposite...I really opposed putting it in my water. I don't know why...I felt like I would "taste" it there so I have never done that. I posted the question awhile ago about suggestions for mixing it in things. It has been much easier than I thought. Here are some ideas:

If you drink tea, put it in the bottom of your mug first and then pour in the hot water in a swirling motion to mix it...then just use a fork to make sure it dissolves.

Mix it in hot cereal.

Sprinkle it on your rice or pasta and then just mix it around. (I usually try to just do a small section in case I don't finish all my meal)

If you make a sandwich and have a thin layer of mayo or mustard on it, you can sprinkle it on the bread and it will stick (sort of)and you won't really notice it's there.

I guess you won't be making smoothies on your trip, but I frequently mix it in my smoothies very easily.

And of course on your trip, can you just put it in a water bottle and shake it up?

Glad you found the Pampered Chef product. I think it's perfect for IBSers on the go! Hope that helps.
