Wasn't too bad when I did it (last November). I remember the prep part was pretty difficult - they had initially told me to drink two small bottles of that nasty tasting stuff (I forget the name of it exactly, but I'm sure it was the same as you). I didn't actually drink both bottles - by the time I had gotten through the first one, I was also dry heaving b/c the stuff is toxic. I called the doctor and they told me to get through as much as possible and then just try to sleep. I took the day off of work before the test as well to help prep for it so that I could at least be at home. I found when I woke up the next morning and went to the test, I didn't have any problems with the bathroom - b/c I couldn't eat or drink anything for several hours beforehand, there was nothing in my system. I found the effects of the liquid/laxatives to be pretty thorough and done within a few hours of not ingesting it.
As for after, I am told I was there a couple of hours total. I don't remember a thing.
