Hello everyone,

I have been coming here for many years and some of you know me better than others, so when this most recent change happened to me I wasn't sure what to think. For nearly 7 yrs now I have been diagnosed with IBS-C. Then in July of this year, I had surgery on my Aorta Artery, where I had many severe blockages.

My surgery was in July and I am progressing well in my recovery process. I am doing better but for some reason I am suddenly a "IBS-D" person. I was trying everything that I could to gain control over the diarrhea that I have had for the past two months. The reason that I had diarrhea is unknown, but my surgeon had me on a diuretic called Laskix, and on a blood thinner called Cummadin. Both which have side effects for diarrhea.

The only relief that I found was following a suggestion for IBS w D on the Web MD site. I have found that most medical sites are incorrect in the treatment of IBS, but this one claims to be helpful in diet suggestions.

Has anyone else ever found this happening to them???? One day you are IBS-Something and suddenly you are IBS-something else.????

Please let me know what you think OR if you have any major suggestions for me and my poor tummy..

Thanks,
