Yes--I still think you should tell them. The point is to make yourself feel more comfortable in your new home. Don't be intimidated by their age. They would probably be more accepting than younger people. Plus, no one is perfect and nearly everyone has some type of health issue, allergy, dietary restriction, etc. You don't need to go into a lot of detail if that makes you uncomfortable.
