Hey there,

I can relate. Any stressful event (including my pending move into a new apartment...but my OWN place, hopefully) makes me worse. Your problems could be brought on partly 'cause of the erratic eating habits & accidental dairy ingestion. Or it could just be the stress.

If I were sharing a bathroom with roomates and the new place's bathroom was janky, I would be even more stressed out than I normally would be with just the move. I can imagine what you're going through.

The suggestion that Karen gave sounds good. Explain to your roomies what's going on. and that you're worried about making them uncomfortable, etc. etc. Hopefully they'll come back with all kinds of reassurance so you'll feel more comfortable - particularly if you volunteer to maintain the bathroom cleanliness! See what happens. My roomies don't necessarily understand how badly this truly makes me feel all the time, but they respect it and most definitely tolerate what I go through and are often sympathetic.

Good luck with this. So sorry that an already-stressful situation (moving) is being made MORE stressful!
