Found this site when my doctor first suggested I had IBS back in May but have only just seen the specialist today. I have it confirmed. Well, more or less. He did seem a little concerned at how tender my tummy was, especially as I'm not suffering at the moment. That made him queery Crone's but said I was looking too well for that to be likely! He's booking me an appointment with a dietician at my request and wants to see me at the end of the next term to see if I've got it under control during stressful times. I also have to have another couple of blood tests just to help rule out Crone's I think. I know some of you have had a hard time with your doctors but I just can't believe how wonderful and sympathetic everyone's been here.
