IBS-C Abby, If you feel like a BM might be coming on before the test just go and push out whatever you can. That's what I did and didn't have any problem during the MRI. I had these tests done back in January at Northwestern Univ. Hospital in Chicago. By the way, neither test takes too long, about 20 minutes.
