Hello ! I have been IBS-C for 7 years now. I have been on Miralax which has helped me to go but only little bits, I never felt like everything came out--although don't get me wrong I was SO happy that anything came out!! But it made me CONSTANTLY so very bloated, never a day without that.
I have a Gastro Dr. appt. in 45 min today, I wanted to ask to try Zelnorm. But I just got done reading about all of these warnings about the drug and how they don't really know what the long term effects are. It sounds like (from reading past posts) many of you are taking Zelnorm everyday, but I've read you should only take it a few weeks at a time and then stop.
I want relief so badly but am scared to try this drug. Has anyone had any really bad experiences with it, or for that matter really good that might help to persuade me the other way???? I will probably get it today and try it for a few days, but I really am scared of all of those warnings..
