In my area (Madison, WI) I can get Luna bars at pretty much any grocery store, Whole Foods, Target, Walmart and they even have a few at Walgreens. (they are cheapest at our big discount grocery store and Walmart at .99)
As far as fruit goes for me, the safest ones are bananas, strawberries (god tell me why, one would think they wouldn't be), cherries, blueberries, melons and grapes. I'm fine eating the inside of any plum, nectarine or peach as long as I get rid of the skin first. I try to stay away from citrus fruits.
