If I'm understanding what you're experiencing, it sounds like an anti-spasmodic could help. I take Donnatol and it works well - it's an anti-spasmodic combined with belladonna which is a phenobarbitol, I think. Bev recommended it and it's done more for me than Levsin or Levbid or Bentyl.

I'm IBS-D and so is Bev, but I think the kinky gut problem is the same for Ds and Cs, just a matter of whether it convulses (for Ds) or charley-horses (for Cs).

I'm sorry you're having such a tough time and hope you and your doctor can get you unknotted.
