I've taken acidophilus supplements for about 5 yrs now. The two that I recommend are Flora-Q (stopped taking it because it was expensive and I had to order it online). The other is Primadophilus, which I currently take, and I haven't had any trouble with it. It has 5 Billion CFU and I take one a day. I'm sure you could take more. Look for good potency levels like 4-5 billion and make sure the pills are enteric coated so they survive stomach acid and deliver the strains to your intestines. Just start out slowly with whatever you're taking as too much acidophilus at once can make you gassier and can increase bloating. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
