hi all. I just found this website today while searching for some tips on IBS-C. I'm fed up with my doctor because I don't feel like I'm getting any answers. She "thinks" I have IBS but said there is not much she can do for me. Is it possible to be born with IBS? I'm 28 years old and have had horrible stomach aches, bloating, cramping etc. ever since I can remember. I can't count how many times I rocked myself to sleep as a little girl. I have constant bloating and pain where it is almost a little hard to breath. Does anybody else have that? I'm constipated all the time!! and have cramps and gas all the time as well. On occasion, I do have the IBS-D, but for the most part it's the constipation. I read here that Coffee is bad for IBS. However, Coffee seems to be the only think that helps me go! If I don't drink coffee, my constipation is worse. I seem to have all the symptoms of IBS, however, how do you really know? could it be Lactose-intollerant? I guess i'm just a little frustrated that nobody seems to have an answer. hopefully the tea amd fiber will help! it will be my first time taking anything for my condition. I'm so so frustrated and so tired of feeling sick all the time. I'm sure you can relate! =)
