Miralax question       06/12/06 05:38 PM Edit Reply Quote mtmtmt Reged: 04/09/06 Posts: 47 I am IBS -C and I started Miralax this past Friday. I had been pretty stable with occasional twinges here and there but no regular BM. In typical "me" fashion, I decided to take 1 scoopful (17gm) twice a day instead of once a day, in hopes it would help faster. Sunday (yesterday) I started with all my IBS symptoms in full force - bloating, gas pains, horrid gas but with diarrhea instead of constipation. I know that Miralax can cause diarrhea and I am hoping I just took too much. I stopped the Miralax yesterday but was wondering how long I should wait for the diarrhea to subside if it was caused by the Miralax? Any thoughts? Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
