But just to chime in and state my experiences, I have been on and off Zoloft several times (mostly to treat chronic depression). The last time I tried to take it I had to stop because it made my IBS much worse-specifically it seemed to cause horrible constipation. And in the past it seemed like it made diarrhea worse too. So my experiences have not been positive, but you may have a different experience. Plus, at the time, I was not following the IBS dietary guidelines very carefully. So that may have been a factor too. I personally have found that nothing helps like the IBS diet and some exercise! Best of luck to you and hang in there! Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
