Go by the directions on the acacia package. You should feel the effect with each dose increase. I took it very slowly and waited two to three weeks between increases, but probably could have increased weekly with no problems. The acacia helps tremendously with me! Plenty of water is a must! The directions on the package and the site are exact, so you will be safe following that.
