Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | Heather, please answer my post. I need help.

I have IBS-C. I am a total mess. I started Heather's diet about 3 weeks ago. Felt great first week on just rice, chicken, rice cakes, puffed rice. It was a miracle. But at that same time I also had my period and I usually feel better at that time of month. Second week, I started adding in insoluable foods one at a time and felt so bad. So, I then went back to what I was eating the first week to get back on track. I still felt terrible. Maybe, I felt so good the first week only because I had my period combined with the diet I was on. Anyway, now on the third week I started adding in fruits. I am terrible. Gassy, bloated. I am moving my bowels which is unusual but still no relief with the gas and bloating. My eyes have circles under then and are black. I am so fatigued, just a mess. Maybe I would be better off eating hamburgers, cookies and whatever junk food I can find, because all of this nutrious food is making me worse than ever. I just do not know what to do. I was thinking could it be a hormonal problem? But then again, I was diagnosed with colonic inertia, so all these fruits and vegetables are taking so long to come out. I am still seeing brocolli in my stool that I had eight days ago. HELP!!!!
