Introducing acacia and probiotic

As previously stated, I don't suffer with D or C just general 'fullness', gas and discomfort (no real cramps or pain either!).

Have just started using acacia and have a few questions:

Is it likely to help with these symptoms?
How quickly should I increase the dosage?
When should I stop increasing it?
How quickly should it start to work?

Also, I have a probiotic but have not started taking that yet (don't want to take too many new things at once!). When would people recommend introducing it?
