Nothing wrong with my BMs but......

I suffer teribly from a feeling of trapped gas every day. Don't feel bad when i get up but after I eat breakfast and have had my daily BM I get a gas building up that lasts all morning and starts to disipate in the afternoon, although always leaving me feeling like i need to pass wind! Have tried Colofac, Colpermin, Pepperpint tea, fennel tea and have cut out caffine, alcohol, wheat, dairy.

Really dont know what to try next, have had this every day for four months and its ruining my confidence, self esteem and social activities. I don't have any pain really just a constant discomfort that seems to be associated with wind.

Is IBS the only answer to what this is because thats what my doctor insists.

Am I going to feel like this every day for the rest of my life because that's what it feels like.

Please give me something to hold on to...
