I went just a week and a 1/2 ago to the third GI doc and was handed a flyer that told me to "eat lots of fruit and veggies." He told me to stay on my Donnatol and start taking Equalactin. When I asked how much of the Equalactin, he said "you'll figure it out." Seriously, the guy was falling asleep in his chair during our "consult." Honestly I don't know how it's possible for so many people to be ill with IBS and not receive help. I consider Heather's books a true blessing because I have more "good" days than "bad" from following her advice!
