Hello, my name is christina and i was diagnosed with IBS-C about 6 months ago. when i came across this website i could believe it... i was so excited! i had been eating nothing but insoluble fiber, and now after only 3 days of eating soluble i feel much better. i have a few questions.. first of all, my doctor recommended Zelnorm, and i was wondering if any of you have any experience with that...if its a good thing to take or not. also, i was reading heathers book and it said honeycomb cereal is a safe food to eat, but i saw on the honeycomb box "good source of whole grain". is whole grain bad? also, ive been eating really bland foods for the past couple days and i guess i should start expanding to include insoluble fiber...and i was wondering if any of you have any good ideas on how to start doing that. and lastly, i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for fiber supplements (other than acacia) or anything that would help constipation. ive gone for a week without having a bowel movement, and it can get pretty painful..but then again i havent been eating right, either. i know this is a lot...but any help at all would be wonderful! thank u sooo much
