Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | Is bleeding normal...and another question

On the weekend I had such bad cramping. One day I went to the store feeling ok, and all of a sudden I had such a bad cramp, I had to "breath" through it. It continued for a while and another customer asked me if I was ok...how embarassing! Anywasy, I went home and had some diahrea...I noticed in one BM I had blood in it, so I went to the clinic, they checked for hemorroid and said there wasn't one. SO he gave me medication for my spasming that was happening. This same incident happend last summer, accept the cramping was a lot more and I bled for most the night. This time my bleeding wasn't as bad.
So is bleeding normal in IBS patients?
When I got my colonoscopy done last year, the doctor said I must've had a hemoroid ebcause he didn't find anything.
So because of that, and they brushed it off, I haven't even told my doctor yet what happened this weekend.

ANother question I have: I tried soy milk yesterday, it was strawberry flavour, I didn't liek it at all! SO is rice milk better tasting? or what can I put in cooking for a replacement if I can't stand soy?
