According to Heather, there's an enzyme in it. My guess would be that the less food you have in your stomach, the more it bothers you.

And - nag, nag, nag - I know what you mean about using it when you want to go, but just remember you're working against the whole "soothe the colon" EFI approach.

Sigh. My family's after-Thanksgiving-dinner drink of choice is regular coffee with a shot of Kahlua and a generous dollop of whipped cream - three triggers in one. Too bad we couldn't figure out a way to get egg yolks in there, too.
