Re: internal ultrasound; they use to look at endometrial lining which would be what you would want to determine endometriosis. Not sure that it is worth the test, unless the anxiety about it is causing you stress. The test is not painful, but definitely not fun. I cried and they had to rush me in because I had to pee so bad (the tech said I had the most full bladder she'd ever seen!) and they have you stick a giant probe up your wazoo to look around. Gotta love these tests! But if you feel the need--go for it!

I also share the symptoms everyone is describing; mine is constant pain in left belly button area and upper right side. I am an A, but mostly C overall. Even when I am "regular" (meaning I still run to the bathroom for urgent normal shaped movements after every meal on an IBS diet (better than the pain of constipation for me)) I still have some measure of the pain. The other day, I could literally feel my colon throbbing in that area when I was stressed. Felt like a heartbeat only more "spastic". Your colon is probably having a spasm when you feel the pain. Not sure why it targets certain areas though; does anyone know this?
