Its my first visit to the site but Ive been suffering from ibs most of my life.I am awakened quite regularly by severe cramping and diaharea this alternates with the constipation bloating and gas.I don't dare take any products such as immodiam or stool softners as they really make my stomach go crazy. I am home from work again today because of the diaharea. I work for a certain world famous clinic and never once has my doctor shown any interest in my problem.Ive had 3 colonoscopys because of bleeding episodes and have some diverticulites as well as ibs. I never know what will set it off. I am glad I found this site as it is hard to talk about with others being a bowel issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
