Hi, I need to correct an error in your message. The Colonoscopy goes into the entire large intestine and not into the stomach. So if you are having problems you think are in your stomach, you would need another kind of a test like I had. A tube is also used to go down the esophogus and into the stomach.

All they found when they did this was a small benign polyp.
I have had five Colonoscopies and will not under any cercomstances go thru any more.

The last Dr. that performed this procedure gave me double doses of Demeral and I still had such bad pain, he felt so bad as he thought he could do it without any pain and I had already told him I would not have another one. They never showed anything and he was so sure he could help with the pain. NO more of these for me. I have extra tender intestines caused from having Endometriosis for ten years that were like fingers all over the Uterus and intestines. Once the total Hysterectomy was over, the intestines went crazy and have been nothing but pain and touble ever since.
