I too have periods where my only symptom is pain w/o D or C. Currently, I don't have C (although sometimes it feels like it, but I still go) since I started Zelnorm and I have D with my period or after a trigger meal. But I still have constant stomach pain and cramping, lower back pain and aches, gas, many of the symptoms you described. My stomach feels so tender it feels like someone punched me in the gut most of the time. Because I had an ovarian cyst (the first time I had an IBS attack, although undiagnosed at the time), when I started having severe attacks, symptoms, pain in my stomach/bellybutton area this year, my doctor did a pelvic ultrasound and an internal ultrasound to look at the uteris and endometrial lining. I was a-ok in those areas. If you are worried, I would ask your doctor for those tests, however, your symptoms sound a lot like mine and I don't have endo. Organic peppermint tea helps to ease some of the pain and cramping for me to a manageable level; does this work for you? I also have acute gastris, which might produce some of your symptoms as well...they can tell if your stomach is inflammed during the colonoscopy so I would expect they would have identified that though. Hope this helps.
