Calling all Seattle Area IBS-ers       04/18/06 02:58 PM Edit Reply Quote Bevvy Reged: 11/04/03 Posts: 5918 Loc: Northwest Washington State I have been very sick with diverticulitis. My GI told me 5 years ago that if I have many more attacks I'll have to have part of my colon removed. This guy is supposedly the best GI locally, so when I told my regular doc I wanted someone else, he said, "If you need surgery, this is the guy I'd want to do it for you." I need to find a better GI. A friend's SIL lives in Seattle and LOVES her GI whose name is Pallavi Patel. Any of you Seattle-ites know of her? BTW, have any of you had a part of your colon removed? I hear it's very difficult for folks with IBS.
