Alternately, you can just use low sodium broth and dried onion flakes. Same deal. You put it in the water that you're cooking the rice in - it all gets cooked at the same time. For 1 - 2 cups, you could use probably the single serving size (a tablespoon or two). It would also cut down on the amount of sodium. You can ALWAYS substitute low sodium broth for water when making rice. Oh, go to the lipton website.
