Last night I was bloated, but not in any pain. It was the first night I didn't have gas pains during middle of the night feedings with my 11 month old! It was great!
I appreciate everyone's advice, but I was too afraid to back off the probiotics for fear that they were actually helping me. I've been adjusting my diet every day, changing things gradually to see what is making my gas pains worse. I tolerate things SO differently while pregnant! High carb things give me the worst gas pains, but I've been able to eat low fat cheese just fine. Which is nice since I have the weirdest food aversions. I don't have cravings while pregnant, but almost all the things I use to eat the most make me puke! (like chicken, bread, saltines, pasta, etc.) Since my gas has improved, I'm hoping that it's just normal "pregnancy pains" and that I'll be able to continue controlling them by finding what works with my body during this time! I figure it can't be the primal defense since things have improved, right?
I also just wanted to say sorry for not posting a "thank you" sooner- I've been SO busy planning and buying things for my son's first birthday party next weekend.
I'm trying really hard to control my stress level and I think that's probably helping my stomach a bit too...
Hopefully the Primal Defense, which apparently isn't causing the problems since I was fine yesterday and didn't change my dose, is doing some good since I'm spending so much on it! I like to think it is at least. I guess I shouldn't have second guessed the probiotic since I really do think I was doing better before getting pregnant...
oh what pregnancy does to you body and mind!
Thanks again everyone!!
