He says the same things as many of the websites that I have read "Take Buscopan only when the benefits outweigh the risks". Well at this point it is a very hard decision to make. I am not suffering all day long. I eat and then if I am lucky I'll make it to another meal before my tummy decides to act up. I know that stress is a HUGE factor with IBS...I try to tell myself that but...it being my first pregnancy I am soo anxious. I will try to bare the cramps and diarrhea over the next month. I'll be in my second trimester mid April. I might feel more comfortable taking meds if I need to then. Until then, I'll Immodium close at hand and I'll really stick to a good diet for both me and the baby. Thanks again for the input. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
