Re: Gallstones?       03/06/06 11:58 AM Edit Reply Quote Mitch Reged: 02/06/04 Posts: 170 Loc: Tucson, AZ I had been having problems with pain on my right side for a long time and just recently found out it was my gallbladder and had gallstones. I had my gallbladder out in January of this year and am very happy I had it done. The pain would also wake me up at night. Since I had it done I haven't had the D anymore than with my IBS. I do try and stay away from fried foods because I know that will not only be a big trigger for the IBS but with not having the gallbladder it also doesn't help. So if I were you and you had the choice to have it out do it. The pain completly went away once the pain from the surgery was gone.
