In case I decide to stay GF, could you post your bread recipe. Sad to say, but I wouldn't mind staying GF for piece of mind if the bread didn't cost so much. I'm poor! Plus, it's hard to find an IBS-safe GF bread. The one I eat now contains whole eggs as the second ingredient. And the others either contain whey, high fat, or seeds and nuts....or taste like styrofoam! And all the white rice is sort of constipating.
My gallbladder was not inflamed...it just wasn't working. So, that theory is probably so correct for you, but I can't use it. Have you ever heard that IBS could cause positive antibodies? And if so, does it still need to be avoided? I would assume so. Stupid antibody test. I am really losing control over my obsession with this and I think I need to talk to a therapist about this or something.
I truly, honestly, don't know what to do. Am I sabotoging myself from ever feeling decent if I eat gluten? I will go to my grave wondering this. I must pray for peace with this one.
Do you think I should try to eat gluten again?
Ooh, yeah, that mix has dried milk in it! They do make a version now that is dairy free...but you usually have to order it because stores don't carry it as often.
Yep, if I felt better, I would feel more likely to experiment because I would notice I if I was feeling worse when eating gluten. But when you don't feel stable to start with, that's not possible to do...so I would always wonder.
Okay...sorry for the long vent. Thanks again for listening...and if you could share your bread recipe, that would be nice.
Thanks Aly!
Big Hugs!!!
