Jojo, I read an article today about De-glycyrrhizinated licorice (DGL). DGL was tested against prescription drugs and results showed that It is equally, if not more, effective than prescription and over the counter remedies. No side effects. You chew them 20 min before a meal and before bedtime. They really help me. They increase mucous and actually heal sore intestines. They contain flavonaids, which are known to inhibit both acid secretion and the growth of harmful intestinal bacteria, including H.pylori. Also, do you have the head of your bed raised? B
