Re: surgery       02/15/06 07:10 PM Edit Reply Quote ArtKen Reged: 07/12/03 Posts: 301 Loc: Brantford, Ontario, Canada Generally speaking from where I am (Ontario Canada), surgery is recommended if there are severe bouts of diverticulitis, bleeding were medicaion has not controlled it. I know I have some large diverticul and because of periods of constipation where in the past they were the reverse I asked specialist of the possibility of surgery. His suggestion is merely increasing fibre, with Metamucil or equal and lots of water. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
