Start with 1 t or less and work up to 3 t./day. 3 t contain 615 mg of magnesium. Available at health food stores. I never took MG citrate for prep. The bottle that may be used for prep is a saline laxative as it contains 50 mg Na/oz. and 1.745g/fl oz of magnesium. My preps were Miralax that didn't work and then the last one was 2 gallons of ?
