I've been experiencing a new symptom for the past few days. It's likea big lump in my throat is preventing me from swallowing normally, or talking normally sometimes. In Googling this, I came up with Dysphagia and Globus Hystericus...defined as difficulting swalloing either for a real reason or for an anxiety type reason. Supposedly some drugs that are smooth muscle relaxants can cause this. Since I've been taking both Levbid and Bentyl, I'm guessing this is causing it. Or maybe it's all in my head? Just wondering if anybody else has experienced this? It's quite an uncomfortable sensation. I'm also drinking tons of peppermint tea, so maybe it's a reflux symptom?
