It may be something else and you won't know any more till the scope. Tell the docs about your bad experience with the colonoscopy. They'd normally sedate you more heavily for the gastroscopy anyway, but maybe they could do it under a general as you didn't respond to the other sedative? Anyway, there are definite possibilities with that. Have you also tried Immodium with the PPIs to try and combat the D?
