There are times when I like not having an appiette but then there are time when I wish I did. I could lose the weight but I would like to be able to eat somewhat normal again. Yes it is nice not to have that pain anymore. The doctor said it really needed to come out as it was inflamed. I have had my IBS-C for about 5 years or so. I am hoping this helps out a little.
