Well, I am a "D" and I too have high blood pressure. I've never taken my BP when having an attack, but I'd bet it would be elevated BIG time.

That's very interesting; I've never thought of it.

Does your mother take BP meds? If not, she should see her doctor! Obviously, the answer for her would be to get stable so she has fewer and fewer attacks, and I also believe in exercise (and losing weight) to bring down that BP. That's worked for my hubby who USED to have high BP. Now (I hope) it's working for me too, now that I'm losing weight (and exercising like crazy).
