Yes, as AC mentioned. If you strain while going, that will
drive your BP up by at least 5 to 10 points(mm mercury) on
both the systolic and dyastolic values. When I had my stroke,
I had also flooded myself with water which really drove it
up.So beware drinking too much fluids and straining. If she
doesn't have HBP medicine, get it! I'm on two HBP med's.
