What causes IBS??       01/26/06 09:30 AM Edit Reply Quote busymomtn Reged: 01/09/06 Posts: 44 Loc: Chattanooga, TN OK - I got IBS out of the blue in June of last year. Mine started when I took an antibotic for a urinary tract infection. I've had all of the tests; colonoscopy, upper gi, etc. My doc thought it was C-Diff (which is where the antibotic wipes out all your good "gut flora") but it came back negative (my heart sank over that one) so "physically" there is nothing wrong.
