During colonoscopy procedure - hurt?       01/23/06 11:01 AM Edit Reply Quote rox53 Reged: 02/23/04 Posts: 26 I've never had a colonoscopy, only the barium x-ray and sigmoidoscopy, and my GI wants me to have a colonoscopy done now. I am soooo scared about it because I had a really, really hard time with the x-ray & sigmoidoscopy. The cramping during the procedure was painful to me. Can anyone tell me their experiences with the colonoscopy and if they cramped up during it or afterwards. The unknown always freaks me out. Thanks! Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
