Hello Judithg, You were this first one I notice mentioning 5HTP. I have been dealing with sleep problems for several months and having a terrible problem making any progress The only way I can get a bit of sleep is to take Tyleonol PM every night. The reason is because the minute I fall alseep I am immediately awakened with an anxiety attack. They have been lessening for some time or should I say becoming milder. A friend said 5HTP had helped him a lot so I started taking it. The first night I had NO anxiety attacks but last night at 4 am I was awakened with the strongest one I have ever had. Do you think it would be wise to stop taking 5HTP? WS
