Going to a BBQ - suggestions?

Hi everyone,

Lately whenever we see our friends for a meal I ususally invite them to our house so I can cook safe foods.

One of our friends has asked us to their place for a BBQ in a few weeks. I don't mind asking for alternate foods at restaurants but i find it a bit harder with friends. I was thinking I could offer to bring something but I'm not sure what. It should be something substantial as it may be the only safe thing for me to eat.

Typical Aussie BBQ's usually consist of steak and sausages, green salads, potato bakes, etc.

Any suggestions of what I should do, take etc.

I feel funny taking a potato dish say and then eating only that.

Kerrie
