I've definitely, on more than one occassion, eaten a whole LARGE bag of these things at one sitting!
OK, embarassing admissions aside... the fat content on these are pretty safe to be eaten alone. I don't have a bag with me here but the internet tells me they're only about 13-14% fat, which is quite safe for most folks. For me the only (non-IBS-related, just general health-wise) drawback is that they're pretty high in sodium and have preservatives etc... But other than that they're a good safe option for me, especially when I'm out and find myself without food and the only option is a vending machine or corner store.
Not sure why they'd be giving you problems, but if they're making you "go", as a C, maybe eating them in small amounts might be a good idea? As long as they're not giving you D... that's a cycle you just don't want to get on.
