Here's a link to a previous discussion and within that post there's a link to the section where Heather talks about meat. It seems that some IBSers, after getting stable, are able to tolerate some lean red meat once in a while. However, since you're still suffering from a lot of pain and not stable, how can you be sure it's NOT the red meat that's bothering you? Sometimes the effects of certain trigger foods are not immediate.
