Has anyone else been prescribed this? My Doc says even though my blood work has come back negative that I should take these antibiotics to be sure that I don't have an infection. So, I take it he is not sure I have IBS. He then says if this doesn't work he wants me to try an anxiety prescription. Something like Zoloft, but its called Elevian or something like that. He says maybe its my nerves. I think my D is getting worse than getting better. I have lost 10 pounds now and haven't hardly eaten in days. So far I eat a banana for breakfast and plain noodles for dinner. I take Bentyl, Benefiber, Immodium, and now Cipro for my gut. I don't see myself getting better taking all this crap.
