Thanks Maria for your concern and I'm sorry my reply took so long. My home PC has been down for 2 months and I do all my computer stuff from work when I can. It took me a month to get over that episode of food poisoning and there are still things I cannot even think about eating. After I went to my gastro doc last Friday and he told me that of course I would battle this for the rest of my life...but that IBS is not a "serious" illness; only life-altering at times. GEEZ! Then on Saturday I had an attack from eating a half bowl of Cheerios. Sometimes I crave things so bad that I know will hurt me in the end..no pun intended But I'm doing fairly well now. With everything else going on, I'm going to have to have braces plus all my wisdom teeth extracted! If it's not problems at one end..it's the other you know. I told my husband I was really tired of these initial diseases I have been blessed with. The reason for the braces is because I have TMJ or the more complicated term is temporalmandibular jaw malfunction. It causes awful headaches similar I imagine to migraines. But we all have our crosses to bear you know. I hope you have a great week and I look forward to chatting again with you and all the IBS family.
