I know it sucks - there were a lot of things that I was "dependent" on that I had to give up - but sooner or later, you WILL have to bite the bullet and give up the dairy. Period. I know it's depressing now, but trust me, when your IBS stabilizes and you get your life back, you'll forget all about what a pain in the butt it was to give up something that's bad for you anyway!

I have a feeling that a lot of people read your post and didn't reply because they were all going to say the same thing I am, and they didn't want to be the bearer of bad news! LOL You're just going to have to get used to it. Sorry!
